July 18, 2018 marks 100 years centenary of the birth of the former President Nelson Mandela. James Hall Museum of Transport will host “Ride for Madiba” charity event on July 21, 2018 at the museum. The event starts from 10H00 until 16H30 and it is targeting all Vintage Cars and Bikes clubs around Gauteng province as well as ordinary members of the public.
This is a family fun day to challenge South Africans to locate Madiba within themselves and donate old clothes, warm blankets and any other items to less fortunate people. Patrons will be entertained with music, children’s playground, 1952 London Bus rides, complimentary guided tour of the museum, vintage cars show, arts and craft stalls. People are encourage to bring their own camp chairs, picnic basket and refreshments
